Vanilla Ice might have temporarily changed his occupation from rapper to a reality TV star but it is difficult for him to mend his old habits. After being arrested for domestic battery in 2004, the ‘Ice Ice Baby’ singer has once again committed the same crime, although it depends on whose version you want to believe - Ice or his wife Laura Van Winkle. An argument erupted between the couple over buying a bedroom set. According to Vanilla, he called his wife nuts and left the house on his motorcycle. Laura said that her husband had pushed her but withdrew her former statement to the police that she had been hit and kicked by her husband. The Palm Beach County police however chose to accept Laura’s story and arrested Vanilla Ice.

This is not Vanilla Ice’s only tryst with illegal activities. In 2004, he was arrested by the Broward County police on domestic battery charges. Other violations of the law included driving with an expired license, driving 74 mph in a 45 mph zone and being fined for being a careless pet keeper when animal control officers picked up his runaway pet wallaroo and goat.
