Lady GaGa sweeps 2010 MTV Video Music Awards

MTV's big night clearly belonged to Lady GaGa, who converted a major chunk of her 13 nominations into victory with ease and walked home with eight Moon Man trophies at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards held at Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

GaGa won the Video of the Year award by Cher for Bad Romance and increased her tally by winning seven more trophies for Best Dance Video, Best Collaboration, Best Female Video, Best Pop Video, Best Choreography, Best Direction, Best Editing.
