George Clooney was awarded with Best Supporting Actor Award at Oscars for Syriana and now he is honored with a lawsuit. Stephanie Vergniault, a French writer who claims that Syriana Team has copied her idea, has sued Warner Studios, George Clooney and his production house as well.

She said that her script named Oversight was registered with French Society of Drama Authors and Composers and her idea have been copied by Clooney and his company for the movie. Her protest was heard on 10 April in Paris Court.
