Kim Basinger's meeting with Alec Baldwin on the sets of the movie, The Marrying Man (1991), led to their marriage in 1993 and divorce in 2000 - all made big news. However, since the divorce, they have been fighting a legal battle over the custody of their 12 year old daughter, Ireland Eliesse.

The L.A. Confidential actress was present in the court, last Friday, with her lawyer. The hearing was on the 'leaked' voicemail where Baldwin is heard lashing out at his daughter calling her 'a rude and thoughtless little pig'. Baldwin was conspicuous by his absence at the hearing, but he was duly represented by his attorney.

The Golden Globe winning actor, denied the message left in the voicemail was for his daughter and rather that it was meant for his ex-wife.
A separate hearing on the leaked tape is scheduled for June 5.
