The compassionate star reportedly attended a war crimes trial in The Hague, supporting young people testifying against Congolese militia leader Thomas Lubanga. Lubanga allegedly used kids for his militia.

Jolie does not fear raising voice against such heinous crimes. Being a celeb she knows her voice can make a difference so putting it to a worthwhile use. There is a need for other celebs also to follow suit and become "heroes" in real life rather than just flaunting glamour and wealth.
